This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes the types of personal information we collect through our website at www.socialbluebook.com (the “Website”), how we use that information, who we share it with, and the choices you can make about our collection, use and disclosure of that information. This Privacy Policy only applies to information we collect on the Website and our related SBB platform. It does not apply to information collected by SBB offline or through any other means or to information collected by any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or on the Website.  By using Social Bluebook, you are also agreeing to be bound by the Google Privacy Policy (http://www.google.com/policies/privacy).

Acceptance

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. The use of this Website constitutes your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you may not use the Website.

Without prior notice, SBB reserves the right, at our discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of this Privacy Policy at any time. Updates to this policy will be posted to our Website and we will revise the effective date above. Collection of Information

Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).  We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:

Identity Data includes name, title, date of birth and gender.

Contact Data includes mailing/billing address, email address and telephone numbers.

Financial Data includes bank account and payment card details.

Transaction Data includes details about payments to and from you and other details of products and services you have used or purchased from us.

Technical Data includes internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and other technology on the devices you use to access this website.

Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.

We use different methods to collect data from and about you including: (i) directly from you when you provide it to us; (ii) automatically as you navigate through the site; and (iii) from third parties, for example our business partners; each as described in greater detail below. The information we collect on or through our Website may include:

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our Website. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our Website, subscribing to our service, posting material, or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our Website.
  • Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses), if you contact us.
  • Details of transactions you carry out through our Website and of the fulfillment of your orders. You may be required to provide financial information before placing an order through our Website.

  • Information we obtain from your third party social media platforms when you provide us with access to those accounts by authenticating them via the Website. For example, if you authenticate your YouTube channel via the Website we will obtain information regarding that YouTube channel and your audience such as the number of subscribers and demographic information about those subscribers. 

You also may provide information to be published or displayed (hereinafter, “posted”) on public areas of the Website, or transmitted to other users of the Website or third parties (collectively, “User Contributions”). Your User Contributions are posted on and transmitted to others at your own risk. Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. Additionally, we cannot control the actions of other users of the Website with whom you may choose to share your User Contributions. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your User Contributions will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.

Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies  

As you navigate through and interact with our Website, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including: (i) details of your visits to our Website, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Website; and (ii) information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type.

    •  advertising networks such as Google, Facebook and Instagram; and
    • Contact, financial and transaction data from providers of technical, payment and delivery services such as Braintree.

Do Not Track

We currently do not participate in any “Do Not Track” frameworks that would allow us to respond to signals or other mechanisms from you regarding the collection of your information.

We, and our authorized third party service providers, may use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information:

  • To provide you with information, products, or services that you request from us.
  • To notify you about changes to our Website or any products or services we offer or provide though it or other products or services which may be of interest to you

We may also use your information to contact you about our own goods and services that may be of interest to you and to display advertisements to you when you visit other websites via our third party ad placement vendors. We will get your consent before sending direct marketing communications to you via email or text message. 

 

You can ask us or third parties to stop sending you marketing messages at any time by (i) logging into the Website and checking or unchecking relevant boxes to adjust your marketing preferences; (ii) by following the opt-out links on any marketing message sent to you; or (iii) by contacting us at any time.

Where you opt out of receiving these marketing messages, this will not apply to personal data provided to us as a result of a product/service experience or other transactions.

In addition, we gather information on your social media platforms via an API (Application Program Interface). We utilize API’s for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Google Analytics. In order to calculate your platforms valuation, we require read, management, and sometimes write access to your platforms. Social Bluebook will never post on your behalf on any of these social media platforms, and all data gathered is updated on a monthly basis. 

To remove Social Bluebooks access to your YouTube channel, you can delete it from the “My Values” page, or via the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Please note that this will not remove any data from your channel itself, only from Social Bluebook.

Sharing and Sales of Information

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.

We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this privacy policy:

  • To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
  • To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Company’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by Company about our Website users is among the assets transferred.

In certain instances we may share personal information you have shared with us with other SBB customers as part of other product and service offerings.  Those products and/or services relate to information and analysis about the success and reach of our users with respect to their audiences. That shared personal information may consist of the following, to the extent you have provided it to SBB:

  • Your name
  • Your gender
  • Your city and zip code
  • Links to your social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.) 
  • Biographic descriptions that you provide to us (i.e. your SBB account bio) as well as the descriptions you provide in connection with your other social media accounts (i.e. your Instagram bio)
  • Your age
  • Your verified status with respect to your social media accounts
  • Genres and/or tags that you provide
  • Interests and/or hobbies that you provide

 

In addition, with your consent, we may share your information with third parties that provide products or services that you have requested and such third parties are not acting on our behalf in these instances. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such third parties. We do not control these third parties’ policies regarding the collection or use of your information. If you have any questions about the privacy practices of a third party, you should contact them directly.

Lawful Basis of Processing

We collect and process your personal information under the following lawful bases: 

  1. With your consent as provided hereunder;
  2. Performance of a contract with you;
  3. As necessary to comply with a legal obligation; and
  4. To fulfill our legitimate interest in conducting our business, where your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests including, but not limited to:
    • providing the services for which you have enrolled;

    • to study how customers use our products/services, to develop them and grow our business and inform our marketing strategy;

Security and Protection

SBB uses commercially reasonable security measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Website.
